HERSTORY
I have been writing poetry since the age of learning to read and write.I remember my first poems were:
There was a giant who was so mean
when he got mad he'd turn green
and,
Mommy I love you
for all the things you do
if you throw this card away
I'll never love you a single day
Well,thanks to God,joy and adversity I have come a long way from mean green giants.But I have never strayed from the love of writing. I just had to become a better writer and in order for that,I had to experience life level to level.I have just about gone through everything a woman,hell anybody,could possibly go through.I have been molested,repeatedly,raped,an unmarried teenage mother,seven pregnancies,six suicide attempts,five broken hearts,four children,two miscarriages,an abortion in health clinic,almost sounds like a twisted christmas song,an abusive spouse,alcohlism,weed addiction,crack addicted mother,mother/daughter conflict,low self-esteem,weight problems,health problems,which include,a pitiful bladder,kidney disease,high blood pressure,my knees are crying as we speak,thanks to the rain and cold weather,promiscuity,high school drop out,abandoned by my father,and on top of all this we moved around constantly,so it was hard to keep a good friend,what's a true female without a true best friend.And get this,I'm only 26 years old,WOW.But in light of all these thing would you believe I learned to love myself.And it was because I never kept things bottled up,through my words it was always being released,unlike men who will bottle it up until they're walking atom bombs,fellas we still love ya.But I hope to become an accomplished writer in the literary industry.It has always been my dream,so starting this little business may help in sending my dream across the seas in a bottle,or help in financing self publishing efforts.
