POETRY 4 U

I am by own given title a poet,a writer and an all around good person.I hope in sharing my stories with the world, the world will in return share its love with me. I am a single mother of four,Marshall,Eric,Jae'sa,and Walter,my four reasons for existing still.I am currently living in Wisconsin, but hope soon to be living in the beautiful state of Arkansas.I hope by starting this web site I further my career and meet lots of new people.God bless you and if you are reading this know that you are now in my prayers.I specialize in the following:

  • Poems
  • Short stories
  • Children's books

Words without a voice
A life in poetry

This book is a book that documents my life.
Now you say,”who are you?” I am every black woman,
every woman. In my life I have been raped, molested,
ignored, jilted by love, beaten, sick abused drugs and
alcohol, slept around, and struggled to care for
children that I was not ready for and I lived.
I have taken every major event in my life my life
and set them to the rhythm of poetry and it sounds good.It
doesn’t deal with the normal bios that focus on
the”when, where, who, and why,” so much as it focuses on the
struggle
being worth it in the end, coming out of dirt
with the hope of being cleansed. This story
deserves to be heard.I see too many young
girls lost and far less emotionally trapped than
I was, so I feel like hearing my story will help
them in realizing their own victory in simply
surviving day to day.I came up out of my adversity
with a healthy attitude. And that is definitly a
story worth being told.

Sample poems

Beautiful
The struggle in daily battles of life`s war,
may be ugly,
but know that your will to keep fighting is
beautiful
Your failures that increase in numbers at your every attempt,
may be ugly,
But the strength in you that prevails after every fall is
beautiful
I saw a man so badly twisted and deformed,it looked as if his right
elbow was connected to his left knee,he was twisted so ugly.
But the power in his stance as he independently waited for the bus
was so
beautiful
So I give these words to you my beautiful friend in these times of
ugly situations,
to turn your recognition of ugly into the realization of your beauty.
You are beautiful!
